Hiya Linda!
Welcome to planDisney!
Dining plans are back and I'm already doing the math and planning for my upcoming trips! I'm ready to help you do the math for a successful and delicious trip so let's go!
There are two versions of the dining plan being offered to guests of Walt Disney World Resort right now. The first is the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan which gives each guest 2 Quick-Service Meals and 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink per night of your stay. You also get a Resort-Refillable Drink Mug. I did the math and prices may vary but at this time the Adult Quick-Service Dining Plan per day will be $57.01. The cost for kids between the ages of 3 to 9 will be $23.83. Of course, kids under the age of 3 are "free" and can enjoy food off the plates of their favorite grown-ups.
The other dining plan offering is called the
"Disney Dining Plan" and it gives each guest 1 Quick-Service Meal and 1 Table-Service Meal per night of your stay. One Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink is also provided for each night. Don't forget your Resort-Refillable Drink Mug! The math works itself out so that the adult cost would be $94.28 (or $94.29 if you round up) per day and for kids ages 3 to 9, it would be $26.69. Remember that while tax is included when using meals and snacks in the dining plans, gratuity is not. Also, adults who are 21 and older can make their beverage for their Quick-Service or Table-Service Meal to be an alcoholic beverage.
The dining plan meals and snacks are available to you as soon as you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and can be used at
so many locations. I strongly suggest that before you arrive you check out some restaurants and menus. Some guests find the plan does not work for them while others love it. My family has enjoyed it in the past and loved it even more when we got it for free!
A new offer has just been released for Disney+ subscribers who are looking to stay for 4 nights this summer and want to eat! Subscribers can purchase a package and get a free dining plan! The type of dining plan is determined by the Resort category and there are some exclusions. Guests staying at a Disney Moderate Resort Hotel or a Disney Value Resort Hotel will get the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. Furthermore, those staying at Disney Deluxe Villa or Deluxe Resort will get the Disney Dining Plan. There are a limited number of packages available so if you want to secure this deal move fast!
I hope this helps and if you have any questions, please feel free to
let me know!
Happy Planning!
