Do you have to have a Disney Dining Plan to make character dining reservations ahead of time?

    Hi Angie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You don't need to have the Disney Dining Plan to make any dining reservations.  Character dining and most other dining can be booked up to 180 days in advance.  I think the easiest way to book your Disney dining reservations is on the Walt Disney World website.  It's very easy to search and find what all is available.

One of our favorite character dining experiences is Donald's Safari Breakfast at the Tusker House in Animal Kingdom park.  The food is amazing and the traditional characters are always fun to see!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
