Hi Which Disney dining plan is the best for a family of 4 and what type of food is available at the quick service plan? Is breakfast buffet or quick service. I'm not sure if we should go for 3 table service meals as my children are quite fussy eaters.

    Hello Ashi,

Thanks for stopping by with your dining plan question. While my family does not usually use the dining plan, this does not mean it cannot be a great value for your family. For a family of four, such as yours, I would recommend the Disney Dining Plan. With this plan, you will receive (1) quick-service meal, (1) table-service meal, and (1) snack per person, per night of your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. With this plan, you can get to experience all types of dining venues from the snack carts to the quick-service restaurants to restaurants with character dining all on the same plan. This variety will serve you well, especially if you have picky eaters.

Quick-service locations are ones in which you will walk up to a cashier, order your meal, wait for your meal on a tray, then find seating in a seat-yourself sort of manner. Even though it is quick-service, you will still find plenty of variety in food choices. However, in these locations, it will never be a buffet or one where you will be able to dine with characters. Breakfast options at the quick-service restaurants will vary from breakfast sandwiches to yogurt and fruit to breakfast pastries such as muffins or cinnamon rolls.

WIth table-service, you will be able to choose from many character dining locations as well as restaurants that offer buffets or off a menu. Again, the variety of food selections will depend on location. Don't worry, though, if you kids are fussy and prefer their favorite sorts of options, many locations will have many of the same menu offerings as well as ones unique to their location.

So, I would recommend the Disney Dining Plan, rather than the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, simply based on variety. I hope this was able to give you more insight as you make this decision.

    Have a magical trip.
