    Disney Dining Plan has become more expensive over the years. It seemed like it was worth it, now I am not sure. My son just turned 10 so the price increased, however, I know he won't eat that much food. Can I get it just for me and my wife?

    Hi Amber! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We've gone both ways for our Walt Disney World Resort vacations - with and without the Disney Dining Plan. Personally, despite the increment price increases I still love the Disney Dining Plan because of the overall convenience and dollar for dollar compared savings.

    I especially love knowing the bulk of our dining expenses are already taken care of and it's great being able to make our dining reservation way in advance (up to 180 days) at most Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. My kids are definite EATERS, so for our family the Disney Dining Plan is a great value and makes it easier to enjoy our vacation without worry about tracking down the most cost effective place to eat when we're in the parks.

    Unfortunately when you purchase a dining plan it is for everyone on your reservation, so you can't exclude your son. Now that he's 10, your son might actually enjoy the greater variety and selection from the adult menu - and you may find that he actually is a big eater!

    If you're worried about there being too much food, I'd opt for the standard Disney Disney Plan which includes 1 table service meal, 1 quick service meal and 1 snack per person, per night. It's the dining plan we always go with and it works out great for us.
