When will the Disney Dining Plan come back to Disney World?

Hiya, Nathan! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question!

Just reading your question made me rumbly in my tumbly, much like our friend Winnie the Pooh. Talking about food is definitely one of my favorite ways to spend my time, so I'm glad I get to assist you today! Nathan, by the looks of it, you will be visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Resort in September, which is BY FAR my favorite time of year to plan a magical Disney trip. For starters, you will get to experience all of the Fall seasonal offerings throughout the Resort (honestly, who doesn't love Halloween?), and the weather will have started to cool down a bit. And, speaking of food, you absolutely cannot miss the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Trust me, this is a major bucket list item, so keep an eye out for more news on dates, festival booths, and more!

Unfortunately, we don't know when the Disney Dining Plan will make its very awaited comeback. What I do know, Nathan, is that it will come back in the near future, so I encourage you to keep checking back in the months leading up to your vacation to see if you'll be able to book this delicious service.

Now, my friend, even though the Disney Dining Plan isn't back just yet, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy all the amazing food that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. As my fellow panelist Crystal B. said, if your family likes budgeting for food, I encourage you to purchase Disney Gift Cards that will be specifically used to pay for your party's meals. I would also like to remind you that you can start making advanced dining reservations up to 60 days before your vacation, so plan away!

Nathan, I hope that your Disney vacation is as magical as you wish for it to be.

Sending faith, trust, and pixie dust your way,

    Ana Paula
