On the 2024 Disney dining plan are you going to be able to split a quick service meal into three snacks used in one transaction? As was done in the past.

Hiya Melanie - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Can I tell you a secret, Melanie? I've never used a Disney Dining Plan! I know - it's hard to believe. That's all going to change next year as the new and improved Disney Dining Plan becomes available. I can't wait to try it out for the first time!

Melanie, even though I haven't personally used a Dining Plan, I'm very familiar with how they work as many of my Disney travel family relied on them heavily. I checked in with a Cast Member, who confirmed that when Disney Dining Plans return, Guests are required to use the snacks and meals provided by their plan on those types of meals only. This means that meals can't be transferred into multiple snacks, and likewise, multiple snacks can't be merged into a meal.

Don't fret, Melanie, because while the Dining Plans were away, there has been a great expansion of Quick Service Dining Locations, as well as great menu updates across the board. I'm sure your crew will have no problem maximizing your Dining Plan if you choose to purchase one.

I hope this information is helpful as you continue your planning journey. You can stop by any time with additional questions! Also, as you make your magical plans, be sure to include the newest thrill at Magic Kingdom Park – TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise!

    See ya real soon!
