Hiya, Luanne! Welcome to planDisney!
I’m thrilled to help with this delicious question because I’m a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan. We have a tradition that everyone in my family, even my 5-year-old, gets to pick a restaurant during our Walt Disney World vacation. As my kids have gotten older and become more adventurous eaters, they’ve started swapping corn dog nuggets at Casey’s Corner for steak frites at Chefs de France, and let me tell you, it’s nice to have a set cost for meals to budget towards.
There are two dining plan options at Walt Disney World: the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan. Here is what each dining plan includes.
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
- 2 Quick-Service Meals (per night of stay)
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
Disney Dining Plan
- 1 Quick-Service Meal (per night of stay)
- 1 Table-Service Meal (per night of stay)
- 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink (per night of stay)
- 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
You can find more details about dining plans
here. I do want to note that you can only purchase a dining plan if you are booking or have already booked a Walt Disney World vacation package (hotel room + theme park tickets). If you have questions about your specific vacation package, I’d suggest chatting with a helpful Cast Member on the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line.
As you consider whether a dining plan is right for you, you can find a list of all the 2026 dining plan eligible table service restaurants
here and a list of all the 2026 dining plan eligible quick service options
here (eligibility and availability are subject to change).
Luanne, I hope you have a wonderful vacation. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
