Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Misha ~
I have a son with special needs who cannot eat solid foods and must have his food pureed. When we are dining at Table Service locations, we always make a note when we make our reservation that we have a special dietary request. When we arrive to check in at the restaurants, we remind them we have a special dietary request and they have a Chef come to our table once we are seated. We also tell our waiter so that they can let the Chef know we have been seated. They are always wonderful at accommodating our requests for our son.
When my son was younger, we took baby food in for him and didn't request that they puree his food so I don't know if there will be an additional fee. If you take food in, keep in mind that Table Service locations are not allowed to heat food items that are not prepared in their kitchen. We also looked on the menu for items such as yogurt or mashed potatoes that my son could eat that didn't require any special preparation. I would suggest that you make a note of your request whenever you make your
Advanced Dining Reservations. It will never hurt to ask and a lot of Table Service locations are capable of pureeing food.
Baby food jars (including glass ones) are allowed inside the parks. There are
Baby Care Centers in all of the parks if you would like to heat your infant's food (microwaves and ovens are available for heating). It is a great place to take a quiet break from the parks.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
