Can Disney dining credits be traded in for snack credits?

    Hi Jenny,

I see your trip is just around the corner. Excited? Ready? I’m sure you are!

The Disney Dining Plans are an awesome way to plan ahead and include your meal budgets into your vacation package. Although there are several plans to choose from, our favorite is the Disney Dining Plan, which includes on Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, one snack, and a Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug.

Starting last year, you can now make some substitutions to better help your palate. For example, we sometimes are not in the mood for dessert, so we may get a bottled water instead. Of course, a few minutes later we get in the mood for a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar. You can also substitute a Quick-Service meal for three snacks, but they must be done at the same time and only at select locations. My understanding is that it’s not possible to do it at a cart or kiosk.

You can also exchange a Table-Service credit for a Quick-Service, but value wise I wouldn’t recommend it. If you dine at your resort hotel’s Quick-Service restaurant, remember that although your meal includes a drink, you could substitute it for a pastry or bottled juice, since you have your resort mug. That’s next day breakfast!

Now I let you go back to packing your bags. It’s almost showtime!
