Hiya, Maythe!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending your
Disneyland Resort dining question to us hEAR!
Oh boy! This is a great question. I also have a few of these Disney Dining Cards, so I am very happy to be your planEAR today! Disney Dining Cards, which are usually a for-purchase perk of staying at a
Good Neighbor Hotel, but can sometimes be included with different
Vacation Packages, can generally only be used at
Quick Service Dining Locations. Another caveat about this form of Mickey Money is that it might not be accepted at non-Disney-owned establishments, making it kind of tricky to redeem in the
Downtown Disney District. However, I have a few tips that should help:
~ There are only a handful of
Quick-Service Dining Locations in the Downtown Disney District to begin with. Your best bet for spending these Disney dining dollars would be to
ask at
Marceline's Confectionary, which is Disney-owned, as well as at Jamba, La Brea Bakery, Napolini Pizzeria, Sprinkles, the Taqueria at Tortilla Jo's, and Wetzel's Pretzels
before you place your order.
~ However, you should have zero issues swiping these cards at the Quick-Service Dining Locations inside the
Disneyland Hotel and
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. These dining choices are
GCH Craftsman Grill,
The Coffee House, and
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill. Sadly these locations don't participate in Hotel Parking validation, however, all are within walking distance of the Downtown Disney District, which means you'll be able to park in the
Downtown Disney District Parking area.
I'm so sorry that this might not have been the news you were sEARching for, Maythe, but I hope that it helped to clEAR your question up! Be sure to follow the
