Can I use a Disney Dine Card to purchase alcohol?

Hey there, hi there, Shannon! Welcome to planDisney. We love getting to help Guests plan their next Disney vacation.

I hope your planning is going smoothly and you are getting excited for your visit to Disneyland during the 70th Celebration. That's so great to hear that you have a dining card! I have used a Disney Dining Card on previous visits, and I do not remember being limited on what I was able to purchase at locations that accepted them. I chatted with a Cast Member in the Disneyland app, and they shared that Disney Dining Cards can be used at most Disney-owned locations, both in the theme parks and in the resort hotels. They also said it was recommended to inquire with that specific location about dining card restrictions before placing an order because locations could change policy without notice.

I wanted to make sure you were also aware of one of my favorite features in the Disneyland app, which is mobile ordering food and beverages at participating locations. I find it so convenient to be in an attraction queue and be able to mobile order my next snack or meal to grab after I exit the attraction. To make this process quick and easy, I always have a credit card stored on my account, so I am not having to type in my card information every day. However, Disney Dining Cards and Disney Gift Cards cannot be stored. To avoid having to pull these cards out to type in the info every time, I like to store all the card numbers in a notes app on my phone to be able to quickly copy and paste.

Shannon, I hope this information helps! We are here for your next question too.
