We are going to Disney in December 2024. If we have a park ticket, can we go to any Park in the morning before going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood that evening.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Jeff!

It's never too early to start dreaming big about a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Let visions of sugar plums dance through your head as you imagine yourself shopping at the life-size gingerbread house seasonally located in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Picture yourself dancing on Main Street, U.S.A., during a magical snowfall. It's all you want for Christmas, and then some!

Special events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the brand-new Disney Jollywood Nights require a special event ticket, separate from a general admission ticket. Some Guests like to "double dip" on their party day by using a general admission ticket to visit a theme park in the morning. Theme park reservations are not required for date-based tickets beginning January 9, 2024, so a valid general admission ticket linked to your My Disney Experience account and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) gets you into any of the four theme parks each day.

As you work towards finalizing your ticket needs, Jeff, I encourage you to consider making the first part of your holiday party day a non-park/resort day. This year, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets allow party Guests to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. The party ends at midnight and I find that eight hours in Magic Kingdom Park is enough to fill my holiday magic tank without depleting my energy tank. Similarly, Guests with Disney Jollywood Nights tickets may enter Disney's Hollywood Studios at 7:00 p.m. The party ends at 12:30 a.m. for a possible five-and-a-half hours of festive food and fun. There are so many things to do at Walt Disney World Resort beyond the theme parks, especially during the holidays. My family tends to prioritize pool time and nap time on party nights, which saves us the cost of an additional day of general admission tickets.

Thanks for making planDisney part of your vacation-planning team, Jeff. Let's chat again soon!
