We'll be in Disney from Dec. 8 - 14 this year. I don't want to miss any of the holiday happenings! Of course we know about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas (which we'll attend) and the Candlelight Processional. Are there any other lesser-known things?

    Hi there, Natalie!

You've picked an especially glorious time to visit. And yes, the activities you've mentioned are highlights!

Make sure that you see Mickey's Jingle Jungle parade at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and check out Goofy's Wild Wonderland, where you can have your photo with one "goofy" Santa!

Epcot is amazing for its attention to detail. Holidays Around the World allows Guests to visit each country in World Showcase, and come away with some new knowledge about religious observances and customs. Last year, the list included:

American Adventure: Story of Hanukkah, Santa Claus, Story of Kwanzaa
    Canada: Papa Noel
    China: The Monkey King
    France: Pere Noel
    Germany: Helga
    Italy: La Befana
    Japan: Daruma Vendor
    Mexico: The Three Kings
    Morocco: Taarji
    Norway: Julenissen
    United Kingdom: Father Christmas

You'll definitely want to check a Times Guide for details.

And don't forget about the fun of traveling from Resort to Resort to check out the beautiful decorations! Each hotel is exquisitely themed with complementary decor. A favorite, of course, is the life-sized gingerbread house in the grand lobby of Disney's Grad Floridian Resort. Make sure to stop by the check-in desk at each Resort in order to get details on what events will be put on for Guests.

    Have a wonderful, festive visit!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
