    Hi moms! I am going to Disney Dec 11 thru 15 and want t get he most out of character meals. Any suggestions?

    Hi Kate!  Disney has many great choices for character dining while at Walt Disney World.  I usually suggest to guests to know what characters are a must see and then make plans accordingly to experience them.  I also tend to warn parents not to make too many character reservations as it can take away the experience if you see one too many times!

    Chef Mickey is my favorite dining experience where you can see many of the main faces of Disney at one place.  Mickey of course is there and Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald are often his pals.  My suggestion for a princess dining experience would be at Akershus in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT.  You will see many princesses here versus the castle where you will see just one.

    Cape May, Tusker House, and Garden Grill are my next choices. The best place to find Donald Duck is at his breakfast at Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom park so if he is tops on your list I do suggest reservations there.

    There are also places like Ohana's where the Lilo and Stitch characters hang out and or the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends.  For a wild and dancing good time you might consider Mickey's Backyard Barbecue at Fort Wilderness.  This is a more active experience with dancing much of the night with the characters and live music and entertainment.  This is great for toddlers on up but the younger ones might get over powered by anxious children on the dance floor!

    Lots of choices....personal favorites are listed but it will depend on the characters your children will want to interact with that will make your final decision a good one!
