We are going to Disney on Dec. 5th - Dec. 14th & are staying at the BC, which we love, but I have an opportunity to switch my hotel and stay at the GF. I love the fact you can walk to Epcot from the BC. Can you walk from GF to MK? Which hotel do you pr

Tough choice Christina!  My all time favorite Disney resort is either the Beach Club or the Yacht Club.  But during the holidays there is nothing more magical then the castle in the Magic Kingdom so that has to be a consideration.

You cannot walk to the Magic Kingdom from the Grand Floridian but this park would be the first stop on the monorail and there is also a boat that will take you there. I would probably opt for the Grand Floridian if I had a park view as the castle is indeed one of the most beautiful sights for the holiday season. The Grand is also decked out in splendor for Christmas with a full life size gingerbread house in the lobby.

If you feel you were going to be eating a great deal of your meals in EPCOT it is worth being within walking distance.  You won't go wrong at either one so it will depend on where your daily interests will take you.  Choose the resort that is closest to the activities you have planned during your stay.
