Hello! We will be in Disney Dec 5-12th for our daughters 5th Birthday. I have noticed there are extra things that are not advertised like the Pirate/Mermaid MakeOver, Pirate Adventure, Tea Party. Is there a list of extra things we could look into? Thanks!

Hi, Vanessa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for your question!

A great resource is the Events & Tours section of the Walt Disney World Resort website. This section is very much my own Walt Disney World Resort bucket list! A few of these items I can cross off, however there are still many experiences I would love to experience.

Another place to find hidden gems your little princess would love is at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Here your family can enjoy Holiday Sleigh Rides, pony rides, Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, and more.

Disney Springs is another amazing place to find some unexpected surprises. It is hard to turn a corner here without catching live music and entertainment. You can also have dinner and a movie all in one building at AMC Movies at Disney Springs 24. Get some strikes, pick up a few spares, and even have amazing sushi at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. Be amazed at the acrobatic skills you can witness at La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil. Your little one could also dance the night away at the DJ Kids Dance Party at Waterside Stage. Don't forget to pop into a few shops, too!

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Vanessa!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
