Hello Elizabeth, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. It’s my favorite time of year to visit because the decorations in the entire resort are magnificent. You will have a wonderful time at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It will definitely get you into the holiday spirit.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins at 7:00 PM and with your special event ticket, you can get into the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. Cast Members will be directing guests with party tickets to a special line to get their wristbands for the party. If you are only planning to visit the Magic Kingdom for those few hours prior to the party, you will not need another ticket. This will allow you to use your Disney Theme Park Tickets at another park earlier in the day and then come to the Magic Kingdom for the party. However, if you are planning to spend the entire day in the Magic Kingdom, you will need a valid theme park admission ticket for the first part of your day.

This is my favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom because the entire night has a line up of spectacular entertainment. You do not want to miss the Frozen Holiday Wish, where Queen Elsa magically transforms Cinderella Castle into a sparkling icon. Holiday Wishes fireworks show or Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. You may even catch a glimpse of Santa Claus as he passes by. Last I heard he was making a list and checking it twice since you have tickets for this party, I am certain you are on the “nice list.”  Be sure to look for Mickey and his pals dressed up in their holiday finest too. I hope that helps with your planning. If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us again.

    Happy Holidays,
    Andrea
