Going to Disney Dec. 2010 with 3 adults and 4 children (14, 10, twins 4). We were thinking of staying at a 2 bedroom villa. We live in the mountains so don't want to stay at a resort with an animal/mountain theme. Any suggestions?

    Hi Susan,

I have a couple of suggestions for you!  The first is Bay Lake Towers - this is one of Walt Disney World's newest resorts.  While I have never stayed there, myself, I have taken tours of the model rooms, and they are beautiful.  There is no sign of mountain life here!  In fact, everything is ultra-modern.  It's adjacent to the Contemporary, so you'll have easy access to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  Plus, there are many great areas for viewing the fireworks.

My second suggestion is Beach Club Villas.  This is our family's favorite resort!  The pool area is a mini-water park and Cape May has one of our favorite character breakfasts.  Also, it's conveniently located within walking distance of Epcot, the Boardwalk, and Hollywood Studios.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
