Hi there, Tiffany! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh no! It must be so frustrating to not be able to lock in those tickets to the Happiest Place on Earth! I'm sure you're eager to get all your logistics set and ready to go so you can start planning all the fun stuff like which attraction you'd like to ride first and which seasonal churro to try! The important things!
While I am not a pixie-dusted tech guru, I think I can help by pointing you in the right direction. I'm so glad you already reached out to your bank to ensure that there were no hold-ups on that end. At this point, I would recommend giving our
Guest Services ticket team a call directly at (714) 781-4636. You could also try the website team at (714) 520-6222, but I think the ticket team will be the most helpful in securing theme park admission!
Once those tickets are in hand, you'll want to make sure that you also have
theme park reservations. If you are booking on the website, this would be part of the ticket purchase process. Be sure to ask the Cast Member assisting you with tickets how best to do this once the tickets are confirmed. I can see that your date is fast approaching and my best advice is to not wait to make the reservations. These are part of the return to the magic protocol that helps the parks team to know how many Guests to expect each day for everyone's health and safety. Reservations are subject to availability, meaning you could have a ticket but not be able to secure a reservation for a specific day. I just took a look and reservations as of today as still open for July 12th! The good news is that Guests are always changing their plans, so if for some reason your date is not available, keep checking! The
reservation calendar updates live and availability can pop up!
I'm so excited to see that you will be at the Disneyland Resort in mid-July and possibly for the opening day anniversary on July 17th! Disneyland will be turning 67! While there haven't been any formal anniversary celebration announcements, this is one of my favorite weeks to be in the parks. There just seems to be some extra magic and nostalgia in the air. One of my favorite things to do is to take myself on a DIY opening day tour, being sure to ride all of the original attractions, such as
Peter Pan's Flight,
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and the
Storybook Land Canal Boats. Extra points if they are attractions that are unique to Disneyland! At twilight, I like to take a cruise on the
Mark Twain Riverboat and let all the magic sink in. You might even want to make a reservation at
Carnation Cafe which sits right on Main Street, U.S.A. where you can order some of Walt's favorite menu items!
Tiffany, so much magic awaits! I sure hope you are able to secure those tickets and reservations so you can let the daydreaming commence! If you have any more questions about your planning, please come back to see us here at
planDisney.
Never stop dreaming,
Tara
