We are going to Disney for my daughters second birthday (it's a birthday gift from my parents), however due to my work schedule we are going a month before her birthday. Will we be able to get the birthday button etc.?

    Hi, Ashlie!

What a wonderful way to celebrate your little princess's second birthday! You are all in for a magical stay in Walt Disney World!

Regarding the Celebration Recognition Buttons, all you need to do is ask a Cast Member at Guest Services in the parks or at your Walt Disney World resort, if staying in a WDW hotel, for a Happy Birthday button, and you are good to go. Any other special touches you'd like to add to your stay, such as having a special cake delivered to a WDW restaurant, or having the waitstaff sing to your little beauty, can easily be requested in celebration of her big day, even if the celebration isn't being held ON her big day. Just think of this as a way to honor a wonderful milestone in your little girl's life...even if that milestone is a few weeks away.

Rest assured that Guests do this same thing frequently; we've even done it for each my own kids' birthdays, which are both in the summer, but may not fall within our trip to WDW.

Have fun planning, and please wish a very happy birthday to your sweet princess from all of us on the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Two is terrific!

Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
