Hi Stacie,
Welcome to planDisney! Annual multigenerational visits to
Walt Disney World Resort are the beacons of light in my family's hearts and photo albums. I was just talking to my daughter about her first visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth this afternoon. At four months old, she was enthralled by the sounds, the movement, and especially the colors of the
theme parks. The baby that once experienced "it's a small world" in a baby carrier now sings along with me in the front row, and I can't wait for you to make similar magical memories with your family.
I'm excited to share that there are over 130 attractions throughout the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with
no height restriction. The whole family can enjoy classic attractions like
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and
Peter Pan's Flight at
Magic Kingdom park. You can all explore the African savanna on
Kilimanjaro Safaris at
Disney's Animal Kingdom park. You can even go on a crazy adventure with
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Please note that your grandson must be forward-facing on any attractions that have a lap bar, such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
I also want to make sure your family knows about the
Baby Care Centers located within all four theme parks. These facilities serve as an oasis for families with little ones. Here you can find large, cushioned changing tables, a kitchen with microwave and sink, a feeding area with high chairs, a private nursing room and more. Walt Disney World Resort can be an over-stimulating experience for adults, let alone infants. It's nice to know there's a place in the parks that understands just what Mickey's special guests need.
My heart is just bursting with excitement for your family's upcoming trip. Please don't hesitate to reach out to planDisney with any other questions.
Have a magical day,
Jennifer
