while in Disney my daughter will be celebrating her 5th birthday, does Disney do anything special for birthdays

    Hi Kari!

How wonderful that your daughter will be celebrating her 5th birthday at Walt Disney World Resort!

The first thing you must do is pick up a Birthday Button from the front desk of your resort, or at Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks.  This will attract a lot of (good) attention from cast members, and other guests, for your daughter.

Have you considered a special dinner - maybe dining with the Disney princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table, or celebrating at Chef Mickey's with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto?  Both reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463, up to 180 days in advance.  Wherever you choose to eat on your daughter's special day, be sure to mention to every cast member that you meet, that it is her birthday.

You could order a special birthday cake to be delivered to your table - call the Cake Hotline (407) 827 2253 - they require 48 hours notice.

Disney Floral & Gifts have a vast selection of Disney gifts that can be delivered to your resort room, with selections to suit every taste and budget.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical birthday vacation!
