Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Natalie. I hope you're having a magical week.
I'm glad to hEAR you and your daughter will be heading to the Disneyland Resort to attend Mickey's Halloween Party. Dust off your broomsticks and accessories, and don your costumes for an immersive experience. Many Guests, both young and young-at-heart, dress up for this spook-tacular event.
I'm not sure if you and your daughter are interested in the edible goodies available for Guests to trick-or-treat. There are usually candy bars, chocolates, as well as healthier options like carrot sticks and cranberries. I typically take advantage of the smaller crowds during Mickey's Halloween Party to enjoy my favorite attractions. Haunted Mansion is taken over by Jack Skellington and gang and transformed into Haunted Mansion Holiday. Interested in being up-close with Disney villains? Don't forget to check them out at Villains Square (in the middle of Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A.)
Disney's Happiest Haunts Tour has had different variations each year. In previous years, Guests were escorted throughout Disneyland Park, and park-hopped to Disney California Adventure Park to explore Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. (This required Guests on tour to have a Park Hopper ticket.) Recently, the Happiest Haunts Tour focused solely on exploring Disneyland Park. There are stops along the way for Guests to taste some seasonal treats. Guests will also enjoy some of the popular attractions at Disneyland Park during the tour, which lasts about 2 hours long.
I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your daughter a magical vacation during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, Natalie. Please visit us again if you have further questions.
Safe Travels,
Kiki
