    Hi Marci,

Thanks for writing.  The Fairy Godmothers-In-Training who work at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are experts at working with hair of all types, styles and lengths.  They can transform even short hair into a magical princess style.  As for makeup, it's not heavy at all.  In fact, it's just a light shimmer.  Your friend can absolutely opt to skip the makeup if she prefers to do so for her daughter.  If she rather bypass BBB all together, perhaps she'd like to bring in her own tiara and/or princess costume for her daughter to wear around the park after the other girls are finished so that she feels included.

    Have a magical trip!
