Hi Disney Moms and Dads! Does The Wave traditionally accept the DDP for Mother's Day brunch? We are traveling next May departing on Mother's Day, and would love to enjoy a spectacular meal before we leave. Thanks!

Hi Holly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so great to hear from you again!

I have to say that I have such beautiful memories from my experiences dining at The Wave...of American Flavors. It was the first place that my Disney Parks Moms Panel class had dinner together as one big happy ‘Ohana! Some of us also got to meet up again at this restaurant for a mini reunion! I was very impressed with the food and the dessert was not to be missed! I think that this restaurant would be a fabulous place to celebrate Mother’s Day!

When I went to the Wave on the Walt Disney World Resort website I could see that “some dining plans are accepted.” Upon further review however it does appear that for 2016 and 2017 dining plans are not accepted for Brunch. So it is my assumption that you would not be able to use your Disney Dining Plan to pay for Mother’s Day Brunch. If you can afford to do this Brunch by paying out of pocket, I think it would be a wonderful day to celebrate you Mom and a beautiful way to end your vacation!

    Have an Unforgettable time!
