Hi Disney Moms and Dads :)My husband and I will be flying down and Disney Transp. will be our only transport. Will we have an issue getting back to our resort when we have late dinner reserv.? I think our latest is 7:45p @ Planet Hollywood. Staying @ ASR.

    Hi Lynn,

Getting back to your resort after a late dinner is easier that getting to an early breakfast reservation.  The shops in Downtown Disney stay open quite late, so you'll have no problem getting back to your resort after your dinner at Planet Hollywood.  In fact, depending how long you spend at dinner, you may even be able to do some shopping afterward.

As for other reservations - it really depends on where you're dining.  If it's at a resort that's connected to a monorail, I recommend going to either Epcot or Magic Kingdom and taking the bus from there.  If you're concerned that the buses may have stopped running, ask a cast member at the front desk of the resort where you are dining.  They'll help you get back to your resort.

You can also travel to Downtown Disney and transfer buses there.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
