Hi Disney Moms (and Dads, etc.:) We are coming to WDW Dec 25-Jan 6 and I was disappointed today to see that MVMChristmas ends on Dec 18--- Are there any special things happening over Christmas/New Years as compared to other times during the year? Thank

Hello Paul and thanks for bringing yet another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You certainly have planned to visit Walt Disney World Resort at the most magical time of the year and I can assure you, you won't be at all disappointed one bit with all the festive offerings, gatherings and goings on!
In previous years Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade (like during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) has been performed in the Magic Kingdom Park for Guests visiting during the week of Christmas - although I can't fully guarantee it yet.  My top tip is to keep a keen eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all new magical updates and festive announcements.
In my opinion one of the most old time traditional experiences to enjoy during a December visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a Horse Drawn Excursion - Holiday Sleigh Ride at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground; singing Jingle Bells all the way is totally optional!
You may also like to check out this Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort link and be sure not to miss Holidays at Disney Springs - during December everything at Walt Disney World Resort is geared to ensure your family enjoys the jolliest of Christmas Holidays ever!
    Have a great Disney day.
