Hello Heather! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
One of the reasons that I became a
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder was for the benefit to take advantage of the complimentary
Memory Maker. Using the PhotoPass Photographers was great because it meant I can get professional quality photos by scanning my MagicBand instead of settling for the out of focus and awkward photos I end up taking.
In your case, you can scan your
MagicBand or Admission Card with any Disney PhotoPass Photographer and it will upload to a connected
My Disney Experience Account regardless of whether you have bought Memory Maker or not.
In lieu of Memory Maker, it is more cost-effective to purchase Memory Maker One Day, which gives you access to pictures taken for a particular day. Even if you buy for each day of your 2-day visit, it should cost less than a Memory Maker package. This option will become available through the My Photos section of your My Disney Experience Account after the day in question.
If it does not, you may contact
Disney PhotoPass Support at (407)560-4300 and a Cast Member will assist you in purchasing these photos with Memory Maker One Day.
If you still decide to purchase Memory Maker, I recommend that you consider purchasing 3 days (or more) in advance of when you use it as you save $20 and pay $149 and purchasing it after that window costs $169.
Say Cheese!
