Hello, We are Disney Cruising in September, sailing from Southampton. I wanted to ask if we can bring bottled & can nonalcoholic drinks on board? Should these be packed in handluggage? My daughter is Autistic-will only drink certain drinks. Thanks

    Ahoy there, Kuljeet!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your questions for us. I ‘m delighted to see you’ll be sailing on the Disney Fantasy in a couple of weeks. You’ll have a splendid time exploring Western Europe! The Fantasy was the first ship my family sailed on in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and it holds a special place in our hearts.

You’re welcome to bring aboard non-alcoholic beverages on Embarkation Day. Be sure to pack these in your carry-on bag and not in your checked luggage. There’s no limit on the number of cans or bottles you can bring as long as they fit in your carry-on bag. Every stateroom has a minifridge; once you’re allowed to enter your stateroom on Embarkation Day, usually after 1:30PM, you can store your drinks in the minifridge to keep them cool.

As your Embarkation Day gets closer, be sure to check out the suggested Disney Cruise Packing List. In addition to your daughter’s beverages, don’t forget to keep your travel documents, medications, valuables and other essential items such as sunscreen and sunglasses, with you in your carry-on bag.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you get ready for your upcoming sailing. Please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again if you have more questions for us!

    Bon voyage,
    Kiki

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
