Ahoy there Linda! Welcome to planDisney - and how fitting that you're a resident of "The Ocean State" - As I sit here in landlocked Missouri - ok, minus those big rivers you may have heard of - a few months away from my next Disney Cruise Line vacation, I'm definitely envious of your proximity to the sea!
My family and I love
sailing out of New York because of the unique itineraries that have been offered over the years! We are always on the lookout for another
Canadian Coast itinerary, as the one we took a few autumns back to Quebec City, Quebec, Canada on the Disney Magic was one of the most memorable cruises we've taken, right up there with the
Panama Canal!I have good news: I just took a look at the
Find a Cruise tool and filtered by New York as a departure port and it looks like there are nine cruises currently on the schedule leaving out of New York in 2023, all on the
Disney Dream! And even better, they are nearly all
Halloween on the High Seas sailings - easily my preferred holiday cruises!
From a
4-Night Canada Cruise sailing to Saint John (New Brunswick), Canada, to a
6-Night Bermuda and Eastern Caribbean itinerary that ends in San Juan, Disney Cruise Line sure is packing a lot of exciting sailing into those nine cruises! While we can never be sure exactly what the itineraries will look like, I think it's safe to say Disney Cruise Line is sailing on healthy seas out of New England!
By the way, I noticed your arrival date is looking far over the horizon into 2024! I also like keeping a weather eye out for the latest itinerary releases, and if history has taught us anything, it's that things change like the tides! This year, the
fall 2023 itineraries were released mid-summer, so I'd circle that same general timeframe for the 2024 itineraries going into the end of the year.
I hope that puts your mind at ease as you look for a chance to sail from a port close to home, Linda! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as time floats by, be sure to drop another message in a bottle my way here at planDisney!
