I celebrated the New Year aboard the
Disney Wish this past January and had a fantastic time with my family! We had so much fun on New Year's Eve and want to do it again someday soon. Yes, we enjoyed both a Pirate Night and a special celebration to ring in the New Year during our itinerary.
On
Pirate Night, you can look forward to themed entertainment, Disney pals dressed in their buccaneer best, and a deck party featuring fireworks! Many of your fellow shipmates will wear pirate costumes, so bring some from home or shop for some fun accessories while onboard.
On our New Year's Eve sailing, we enjoyed a live band, a festive countdown, and fireworks at midnight! The party continued for all who wanted to keep celebrating and dancing past midnight. For those with little ones, an earlier New Year's Eve countdown was offered, and Mickey and his pals stopped by to enjoy the celebration! It was a very memorable way to say hello to the New Year. I highly recommend an itinerary that sails over New Year's Eve.
