Hi there, Jennie!
I'm thrilled to hEAR that you are going to be sailing with Captain Mickey! Prepare to be wowed with
all that’s included on a Disney cruise: fabulous food, exceptional service, Broadway-caliber shows, and special memory-making moments with favorite Disney characters!
You will definitely want to make a reservation in the
"it's a small world" nursery for your little one in advance if possible because spots are limited. This dedicated space is custom-made for little cruisers ages six months to three years old. While your child is enjoying games, movies, crafts, and playtime, you can enjoy some grown-up time.
Yes, you could always check for availability on the day you need it, but you run the risk that space will not be available. So the better course is to go ahead and make educated guesses about when you might need a reservation and make them (preferably as soon as your advance booking window opens or after).
Here’s how the nursery cancellation policy works: cancellations may be made without penalty 4 hours or more before the reservation time. Guests who call to cancel fewer than 4 hours before their reservation time will have to pay half the cost for the reserved time, and no-shows will pay the entire cost for the time reserved.
Fortunately, Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with little ones a breeze! For example, complimentary diaper disposal units, bottle warmers, bottle sterilizers, cribs, and playpens are available upon request (subject to availability) from your stateroom host/hostess or through Guest Services.
Jennie, drop a message in a BOTTLE to planDisney again if you think of any additional questions.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
