For Disney cruises, I keep hearing that room service is "complimentary". Does that refer to the cost of breakfast or the cost of delivery or both?

Ahoy, there! It's great to see you here at planDisney with your question.

Disney Cruise Line has quickly become one of my favorite vacation options and I'm so excited to chat with you today. Your question is near and dear to my heart because my youngest son LOVES to order room service when we are on a Disney Cruise Line ship. In fact, at age 8, he was calling by himself to order chicken fingers and greeting the Crew Member at our stateroom door.

Room Service aboard Disney Cruise Line is included in the price of your sailing and there is no separate fee for delivery. However, my family and I always bring cash to tip the Crew Member who delivers. While there is a more limited menu than you will find at Cabanas or Marceline Market, my family has ordered a variety of appetizers, snacks, and dessert items. My favorite way to order room service, however, is planning for early morning coffee the night before. In your stateroom, you will find a door hanger that allows you to pre-order some quick breakfast items and coffee to be delivered early in the morning. Simply check off your selections and display your order on the outside of your stateroom.

I hope this helps as you're planning for your adventure on Disney Cruise Line. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney. We love to see a returning guest.

Wishing you fair winds and following seas,
    Lauren
