Ahoy there, Jesse-Lyn. Thanks for taking the time to sail by planDisney with your question for us!
Unlike most cruise lines,
Disney Cruise Line does not have drink packages. Most non-alcoholic beverages available onboard the Disney ships are included in the cruise fare. Freshly brewed coffee, tea, sodas, and juices are available throughout the day from the buffet, from beverage stations on the pool deck and in the main dining rooms during mealtimes. However, there are some non-alcoholic drinks that will incur additional costs, such as if you order a canned soda, bottled water or specialty coffee at one of the bars or lounges. Canned sodas or bottled water at the concession stands (such as outside the Walt Disney Theater) will also cost extra.
Disney Cruise Line has wine packages that you can purchase in advance or once you’re onboard. You can check out
Onboard Gifts for wine packages (ranging from 3 to 7 bottles, classic or premium) for pricing and options. If you prefer beer, you can purchase the
Beer Mug Savings Package. With this package, you’ll get a beer mug (which makes a nice souvenir to bring home) that you can take to any onboard bar and get a 23-ounce beer refill for the price of a 16-ounce. If you don’t want to lug around a beer mug throughout your cruise, you can request for a token which you can redeem at one of the onboard bars when you’re ready for your next round.
Also, Disney Cruise Line allows adults over the age of 21 to bring a maximum of 2 unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 mL) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces) onboard. On Embarkation Day, be sure to have
these items in your carry-on bags and not in your checked luggage.
I hope this information is helpful as you continue to plan your upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing. Please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again if you have more questions.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
