Welcome back to planDisney Christina! I am excited that you will be cruising soon on Disney Cruise Line. There is
so much to look forward to!
If you booked a
Port Adventure directly with Disney Cruise Line, your stateroom folio will be charged, and you can use a Disney Gift Card to go toward the balance on your folio. If you did not book the excursion with Disney Cruise Line, you will need to check with the excursion operator for payment methods.
There are a couple of ways to apply your Disney Gift Card to your stateroom folio. First, you can purchase
Onboard Credit with a Disney Gift Card and your stateroom folio will be credited with that amount before you step on the ship. Onboard Credit can be purchased by logging into the Disney Cruise Line website, going to the Already Booked tab, and clicking on Onboard Gifts. You will need to enter the reservation number and your last name. Second, you can stop by Guest Services anytime during your sailing to apply the Disney Gift Card to your stateroom folio. It is helpful to know the amount that is on the gift card when you arrive at Guest Services so they will not need to look it up.
If you have multiple Disney Gift Cards, you can go to the
Disney Gift Card website and combine them up to $1000 per card so you won't need to keep up with multiple cards. As I buy gift cards and receive them as gifts throughout the year, this website becomes very useful. Whether you use multiple gift cards or one, make sure to save the gift card(s) just in case you receive a refund for the remaining balance; it will be going back to the gift card.
I hope this was helpful Christina. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney. We will be happy to help.
Adventure is out there!
