Hi Michelle!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, aka your willing Fairy Godmothers (and Godfathers) as you get ready for the grand ball of them all...your Disney cruise! I know you are eagerly counting down the days until the magic wand waves over the calendar and your sailing date arrives.
Remember the Fairy Godmother telling Cinderella about leaving the ball at the stroke of twelve? Well, that's true for bookings, too! Once your cruise is paid in full and your
advance booking window opens at the stroke of midnight (EST), you are free to make your Disney Cruise Line reservations either on the website or using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. When you log in under My Reservations tab online, go to the My Plans section and add activities there.
There are so many amazing
things you can do on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app even before you set sail. Sounds like you are well versed in all its powers! The ability to book activities, including
Port Adventures, Senses Spa and Salon, "it's a small world" nursery, meals at
Palo and
Remy, special ticketed events and character greetings are just some of the possibilities.
The actual date of when your advance booking window opens is measured by how many times you have cruised with Captain Mickey before or if you are a newbie sailor on Disney Cruise Line. All are welcome of course, but those guests who have sailed before are what we call members of
Castaway Club. Platinum Castaways can book 120 days from the first day of sailing, followed by 105 days for Gold Castaways and 90 days for Silver Castaways. And the window for first time Disney cruisers opens 75 days before embarkation.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help you navigate the cruise planning waters. Once you’ve set sail on your Disney cruise, I hope you will be able to say that the glass slipper fit and the dream that you wished came true!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
