Ahoy, Mike!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Eee!! I'm so excited that your first Disney Cruise is right around the corner! Before you know it, you'll be setting sail to exotic places with Captain Mickey at the helm. I remember my first cruise aboard Disney Cruise Line like it was yesterday. Many years (and cruises) later, I still have the biggest smile on my face the moment we step onboard!
I'm happy to share some of my suggestions on how to make your first Disney Cruise smooth sailing. Before embarkation day, I recommend downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for your smartphone. Once onboard, this app will have each day's schedule, a virtual map of the ship and so much more right in the palm of your hand. There is splashtacular fun to be had on all four vessels. After we're done exploring ashore, we enjoy spending time at the pools while the ship is docked; it's a little less crowded! Definitely see the
Live Shows & Entertainment each evening in the Walt Disney Theatre, too. If you'll be sailing with kids, the
Youth Clubs will be an incredible hangout for them! Each evening, you'll enjoy rotational dining while eating a delicious dinner in one of the Main Dining Restaurants. This is the perfect time to try something new that you wouldn't necessarily order at home. Lastly, if you haven't done so already, check out the many
Port Adventures offered through Disney Cruise Line for your particular itinerary.
Mike, I hope this is your first of many high-seas adventures with Disney!
