Ahoy there Joyce, and welcome to planDisney!
It's fantastic to see that you're preparing well in advance of your voyage at sea next year; I always think it's a great idea to incorporate at least a few days before or after your sailing to keep that magical momentum going with a Walt Disney World Resort stay! In fact, so many families do exactly that to take advantage of the convenient way that they can let the adventure continue seamlessly.
Your best bet is to look into
Disney Vacations by Land and Sea; I recommend that you inquire about this with a travel agent who is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner or
call Disney Cruise Line directly for more information. It'll be up to you whether you prefer the idea of spending a few days trekking around the Theme Parks before relaxing your feet on a sunny beach, or starting off by setting sail and finishing the vacation off with a bang with all of the rides and attractions at your disposal! There's also a
Disney Cruise Line Air Program that you may be able to take advantage of!
I also recommend looking into
including Ground Transportation; there's something so comforting being able to leave your luggage at a designated location at a certain time and seeing it appear at your next destination as if by magic. Be sure to check out any
Special Offers ahead of your voyage to see whether your dates are eligible and whether any can be applied to
either the Land or Sea portions of your vacation.
Another thing to be mindful of in the coming months is whether your ship will be one of the ones that are
actively using DisneyBand+ technology on board; you may be able to use your
existing MagicBand+ if you're already well acquainted with using one at Walt Disney World Resort by then! In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled and ears open for any package offers as they come and
stop by planDisney again for any other questions that we can answer for you ahead of your next adventure!
Here's to your excellent upcoming expedition by Air, Land and Sea!
