Ahoy there, James! Thanks for sailing our way to planDisney. My pals and I are happy to see you here.
Disney Cruises are my favorite topic of conversation, so let's dive in. No, most Disney Cruise Line staterooms are not stocked with bottled water. Concierge Guests have access to complimentary bottled water, but if you aren't sailing in a Concierge category stateroom, have no fear! The great news is that you have plenty of options to stay hydrated during your sailing. You are welcome to bring bottled water as you board the ship, as long as it is unopened and carried aboard the ship (not placed in the checked luggage you hand over to porters). I have friends who like to distribute the weight by placing a few water bottles in everyone's carry-on luggage so that no one is left with a bag that's too heavy.
If you don't want to bring your own, you can purchase bottled water ahead of time (at least three days before you set sail) via the
Onboard Gifts section of the Disney Cruise Line website. Water bottles can also be purchased once on the ship. You can speak with the Crew Members serving drinks near the pool to order water bottles for your stateroom. Each stateroom has a small cooling drawer or refrigerator to keep your water chilled.
Another option is to bring reusable water bottles onboard. I typically travel with an insulated water bottle for everyone in my family. You'll have 24-hour access to the
beverage stations on the pool deck to fill cups with ice and water to then pour into your personal water bottle. My husband and I have a routine of filling up our water bottles just before bed and again when we are poolside for the day. I also pack a travel-sized bottle of dish soap and small sponges to keep the bottles clean.
I hope this information helps you feel prepared for your upcoming sailing! As it is about time to head out for your adventure, here is a
helpful checklist to reference as you pack. Have a wonderful time aboard Disney Cruise Line.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
