Ahoy, matey! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you're considering a magical voyage on Disney Cruise Line.
My two young boys embarked on their very first Disney Cruise last year and, let me tell you, it was beyond their wildest dreams. Your family is in for a real treat, and I'm not just talking about the never-ending soft serve ice cream on the pool deck. (But that too.) The good news is, whatever journey you end up choosing, your two sweet ones will have the time of their lives - trust me. You'll also experience that world-class service Disney Cruise Line is known for on any ship you embark on! There is really no right or wrong choice!
When planning an adventure on Disney Cruise Line, I would begin by asking yourself three things:
*What port would I like to depart from? Is there one that is most convenient to where I live?
*What are the destinations that excite me and my family the most? Are we interested in the private Disney destinations?
*How many nights would we like our voyage to last?
These three things - port departure, port destinations, and length of your cruise - are the most important aspects of choosing a cruise that is the best fit for your family.
Then, with those three things fairly settled, I would spend some time exploring the fleet of Disney ships on the Disney Cruise Line website, which provides a really great overview of the unique theming and Broadway-style shows provided on each ship. Do you have a Frozen fan? Perhaps the Disney Wish or Disney Wonder would be a magical choice. You get the idea!
Don't forget about the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet - the Disney Destiny! This might be the one my family has its eye on most right now, because of the hero and villains! If sailing out of Fort Lauderdale on a 4- or 5- night cruise sometime after November 2025 seems like a good fit, I would definitely give it a look.
Something else to consider: All of the ships are pretty easy to navigate, but the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic are smaller ships in comparison to the others, so that might be something to look at with little ones.
I understand that there are a lot of details that go into planning a magical vacation, especially when there are little ones involved, so please don't hesitate to sail on by again to ask another question. My family has made many lifelong memories together aboard Disney Cruise Line and I would be thrilled to be a part of making your adventure at sea come to life.
Good luck in your quest to find the perfect Disney Cruise, matey! But remember, it doesn't matter what ship you sail on, because what makes the experience magical is being together.
Magic awaits,
McCayla
