Ahoy, Donna!
A big welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question today. A Disney cruise followed by
Disneyland Paris sounds like such a great adventure. If you ask me, finishing a
Disney Cruise Line voyage with a few days in the happiest place in Europe sounds pretty perfect!
I’d highly recommend
travelling by train from Southampton to Disneyland Paris. From Southampton Central, you can take a National Rail service to London Waterloo, then use the London Underground or a taxi to get across to London St Pancras International. From there, you can take the Eurostar towards France, changing at Lille Europe for a connecting train to Marne-la-Vallée Chessy. This station is right in the heart of Disneyland Paris, just a couple of minutes’ walk to Disney Village and the Disney Parks.
I have made this journey many times, and it’s pretty straightforward. Just be sure to leave plenty of time between your train connections. As you will be travelling with luggage after your cruise, my top tip is to only use London Underground stations with step-free access, as this will make it a breeze to wheel your suitcases through.
I hope this helps with your planning, Donna! What an amazing trip you have ahead of you. If you have any other vacation planning questions, please
reach out to me. I’d love to help!
See you on Main Street, Paris!
Matt
