Will any Disney cruise sailing from San Diego in 2023?

Ahoy there, Chih-Han! Welcome aboard planDisney!

I'm so excited that you're looking to sail out of San Diego in 2023! Two of my favorite Disney Cruise Line vacations ever ended in San Diego, so I can only imagine the excitement of embarking on a magical journey from such a great city! One of the best parts? Our favorite ship in the fleet, the Disney Wonder, is the one that calls on the Pacific Coast each year as she makes her way to Vancouver for her Alaska season!

Looking at my treasure map, it looks like you're in luck, and even more-so than in past years! 2023 marks the longest California season ever for the Disney Wonder! You can sail into the sunset of the new year in style in early 2023 with a magical family adventure brimming with sun, fun and relaxation as you sail from San Diego to Mexico on a 3-, 4-, 5- or 7-night itinerary! From Ensenada to Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas to Mazatlán, Disney Cruise Line has 27 sailings scheduled to depart from San Diego between January and May 2023 according to the find a cruise tool

One of my favorite parts of the Disney Wonder is Tiana's Place - and the French Quarter Lounge right outside of it. This theming to "The Princess and the Frog" truly makes your rotational dining experience leap (or should I say hop) right out of the film and into real life! You can party all night with Tiana, Louis, and the entire city of New Orleans - even while you're sailing off the coast of Mexico! Don't miss out on the gumbo, jambalaya, and you can't forget beignets! Oh, and if you're looking for a few adult beverages with dinner, I highly suggest the rum flight - the Satsuma rum that was part of it on my last cruise on the Wonder is still one of my favorites!

I don't know about you, but days ashore experiencing the culture of Mexican port cities, and evenings enjoying the best entertainment, gourmet dining, and incredible activities seems like a great way to spend your Disney Cruise Line vacation!

Well, Chih-Han - I hope that gives you a heading for booking your incredible vacation! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue planning, please sail my way again here at planDisney! I'm always just offshore ready to lend a hand!

    Fair winds and following seas!
