Does disney cruise require medication form to be filled out

    Ahoy, Carolyn! Welcome aboard planDisney!

Thank you for sailing by with this important question! Having the right information before embarkation day helps ensure smooth seas from the moment you arrive at the port.

The good news is that Disney Cruise Line does not require a medication form for either prescription or over-the-counter medications. As someone who cruises with a few prescriptions of my own, I recommend bringing all medications in their original prescription containers, with the sailor's name clearly displayed on the label. It's also a smart idea to keep medications in your carry-on bag, so they're always within easy reach and don't get caught in the tide of delayed luggage delivery.

If you have specialized medical equipment or require additional accommodations, Disney Cruise Line does offer a Special Services Information Form. This form can help the crew prepare for needs related to food allergies, accessibility services, and certain medical considerations, making it easier to keep your vacation sailing smoothly.

Carolyn, you'll also want to be aware of items that are prohibited onboard. According to Disney Cruise Line's Rules and Regulations:

In accordance with United States federal regulations and local laws in the destinations visited, illegal narcotics and drugs, including synthetic and designer drugs, as well as medically prescribed marijuana, are prohibited onboard Disney Cruise Line ships and at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Additionally, all marijuana, cannabis, and hemp-related drug paraphernalia is prohibited. Medically prescribed marijuana, along with products containing THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) or CBD (cannabidiol), may not be brought onboard. Guests found in possession of prohibited items on their person or in their baggage may be denied boarding and may be subject to legal penalties.

Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to seize and secure any item deemed dangerous or a security risk. Attempting to bring prohibited items onboard may also delay the delivery of luggage to your stateroom.

I hope this helps you navigate the details with confidence, Carolyn! May your cruise be filled with smooth seas, sunny skies, and magical memories around every bend in the ship's wake. If any other questions drift your way, please sail back and visit us. We're here to help!

    Bon Voyage!
