For a Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral with a boarding group of number "3" at 11:15 what time should we catch the Magical Express to the ship; minimizing waiting at the cruise port for a while?

    Welcome aboard, Larry!

Your tropical getaway aboard the Disney Fantasy is right around the corner! I can’t wait for you to be welcomed by the fabulous Crew and see the beautiful three-deck tall Christmas tree in the atrium. Very Merrytime Cruises are my favorite way to celebrate the holiday season. From visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus to a flurry of activities, there’s Christmas cheer in the air for the young and young-at-heart.

Busses start leaving Orlando International Airport around 10:20 a.m. I would plan to arrive at Terminal B, Level 1, by 9:30 a.m. to check in with a Disney Cruise Line Representative and board the first bus to the port.

It takes a little over an hour to drive to Port Canaveral. You'll have nothing to worry about since you’re leaving the driving to Captain Mickey. Your driver will expertly navigate the traffic and keep everyone entertained. I love it when we head over the bridge and catch the first glimpse of our ship. I’m smiling right now just thinking about it.

While waiting for your boarding group number to be called, open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and start planning your onboard fun! The app will also lead you to all the delicious dining options, including your table number, restaurant hours, and menus. Boarding usually begins around noon. You’ll be enjoying lunch at Cabanas in no time!

Thank you for stopping by with your question. I hope your vacation is full of merry and bright memories.

    SEAS the adventure!
