Hi Gigi!
It's so wonderful "sea"-ing more questions from you! I'm sure you're already counting down the days until your magical adventure with Captain Mickey and his friends! I love the feeling I get walking into the Cruise Terminal on embarkation day. Seeing the ship and knowing our adventure is about to begin makes me giddy with excitement!
Once your advance booking window opens, you'll be able to begin the Online Check-in process. One of the most exciting steps of the process is choosing a
designated Port Arrival Time. This will be the time Disney Cruise Line expects you and your pirate crew to arrive at the Cruise Terminal. Once you arrive and check in for your cruise, you'll receive a boarding number. If you choose an earlier designated Port Arrival Time, you'll likely receive a lower boarding number that will allow you to step onto the ship closer to when Guests are welcomed aboard. Prior to your number being called, you will have the opportunity to relax in the Cruise Terminal! Boarding typically begins right around noon. If you choose an earlier Port Arrival Time, you may have to wait to board. If you choose a later Port Arrival Time, you may not receive a number at all, and will be able to walk right onto the ship.
When choosing a Port Arrival Time, I always like to choose the earliest time available, even if it means possibly waiting in the Cruise Terminal for our number to be called. If you happen to get a later arrival time, don't worry! You won't miss any of the exciting activities onboard! You can grab lunch, explore the ship and look forward to the
Sail-Away Celebration!
Gigi, it has been a pleasure assisting you! If you have any other questions, please visit us again!
