Ahoy, Christopher!
How exciting that your magical
Halloween on the High Seas cruise is quickly approaching! My family loved this specialty sailing with
Disney Cruise Line – there are so many fun activities, decorations, treats, and merchandise in addition to
everything already included in your cruise. I’m happy to confirm the costume and mask guidelines for you to understand what to expect.
The policy for masks and costumes is found under
Disney Cruise Line’s packing guidelines, and the section on masks specifically says,
“masks that completely cover a person’s face may only be worn when standing still at character photo locations and must be carried when moving around the ship.” This policy is the same whether you are a child or young at heart, so unfortunately no – children may not wear a mask walking around the ship and should follow this guidance. Please know these policies are in place for everyone’s safety, and there are still many opportunities to enjoy the mask as part of a full costume to capture special photographs together during your Halloween events.
While you’re onboard, be sure to take advantage of the
special offer for a placeholder booking exclusive to current Guests. This special offer requires a deposit, which is refundable if you change your mind, but secures future savings on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. You must sail within two years of this booking date, so that means you could apply this to a 2025 sailing onboard the fabulous
Disney Treasure!
Details on this sixth ship in the Disney fleet were just revealed, and I can’t wait to dream about a future cruise on this incredible ship themed to adventure - just my family's style of fun!
Please let us know if you have any additional questions on your upcoming cruise, we’d love to help you make the most of this special experience!
Wishing you a spooktacular sailing,
Amy
