Hi there, Shelly!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for visiting us with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! Since you are from Louisiana, I am guessing that you will be embarking on the
Disney Wonder for seven WONDERful nights at sea with Captain Mickey!
In addition to the activities that can be reserved prior to embarkation, I can guarantee you that there will be plenty of
activities going on throughout your entire voyage! But I certainly understand being concerned that you may not get to experience some of those activities that can be reserved ahead of time. I recommend that you check back – and check back often – as many times Guests will book something and then change their mind, immediately opening up space for another Guest to book. But, if in the event that you cannot secure some of those activities ahead of time, I suggest going to Guest Services on embarkation day to inquire about availability. And, while I know you will be eager to explore your “home at sea”, I recommend making a stop at Guest Services a priority on embarkation day because that will be your best opportunity at securing space, if available. Additionally, at that time, they will take your name and put you on a wait list in the event something becomes available at a later time. From my experience, Disney Cruise Line tries their hardest to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience everything magical about a Disney Cruise Line vacation, so I am sending a bunch of extra pixie dust your way that you can secure tickets to some, if not all, of those onboard activities!
Shelly, you will want to make sure that you have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to your smartphone prior to setting sail, but if you have it now, then you can check availability for those onboard fun reservations easily! Once onboard, the Navigator app will be your “go to” for a complete schedule of onboard entertainment, activities, menus and more!
Wishing you the most incredible voyage ever with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
