Hello, Lisa! Welcome back to planDisney.
Thank you for bringing your question to us before you set sail with Disney Cruise Line. You’ll be boarding the beautiful
Disney Dream in just a few weeks! I’m a little jealous that your Caribbean sailing has three sea days. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the
onboard entertainment and utilize the shipboard amenities. I’m happy to help you figure out the best arrival time for your departure.
Since you are staying at a nearby hotel and have purchased ground transfers from the Miami Airport to the port, you should plan to meet in the baggage claim area by 11:00 a.m., either at Carousel 25 in Terminal D or Carousel 3 in Terminal J. A Disney Cruise Line representative will direct you where to go. It’s a short 20-minute drive to the cruise terminal.
At the terminal, you’ll need to present your citizenship documentation and Port Arrival Form. Your luggage will be whisked away and magically reappear by your stateroom door. Staterooms are typically ready by 1:30 p.m., but your luggage may take a few more hours to arrive. Packaging essential items like medications and sunscreen in your day bag is always a good idea – the Florida sun can be harsh.
I know you know how valuable the My Disney Experience app is, but did you know that
Disney Cruise Line also has an app? The app will be your guide to all the activities happening around the ship. You can even favorite activities. About 15 minutes beforehand, you’ll get a reminder, so you never have to worry about being late or missing any of the fun on board.
I hope your sailing is filled with magical moments from bow to stern. If you have any further questions, my pals and I are always happy to help!
SEAS the adventure!
