Welcome back to planDisney, Natricia! Planning for how to get to your cruise is key, getting the logistics settled so you can focus on
onboard fun.
Disney does offer
ground transportation to
Port Canaveral from
Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando International Airport. Reservations are required, and they fill quickly. I would recommend securing your seats as soon as possible. You can do this online by signing in, going to "Already Booked" and selecting "Ground Transportation." You can also make transportation reservations on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, open your cruise reservation and go to "Review Cruise Options." I am usually a digital self-help person, but scheduling ground transfers is something I would recommend calling for assistance. The number is on the
Ground Transportation Details page.
For your question, a Cast Member told me reservations are required for all passengers, but children ages 2 and younger are considered "lap passengers" and are not charged.
I feel taking Disney transportation makes your vacation start a little earlier. The moment your foot steps aboard the magical motorcoach to the port, you are immersed in Disney magic. You do not even have to schedule a port arrival time when you complete your online check-in. Your port arrival time is when your bus arrives at the port.
Please come back to
planDisney with any questions about
Disney Cruise Line,
Walt Disney World Resort,
Disney Vacation Club or
Disneyland Resort. We are here for you and happy to help.
Happy Cruising!
