Hello, Jeffrey! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad that you thought to drop in with your question.
I'd love to share my perspective with you, as someone who has sailed as a young adult who also doesn't drink. I've found
so much to do aboard Disney Cruise Line, and I know your daughter will too! Here are a few of my favorite things that I suggest she check out:
Quiet Cove Pool Area - This adults-only hideaway is removed from some of the excitement of the main pool deck, allowing for a serene area to swim, relax, and soak up the sun on plush loungers. I love to read a book and recharge in this area.
Senses Spa and
Fitness Center - If your daughter enjoys exercise, I suggest she finds some time to explore the fitness area onboard. A variety of spa services are offered for an additional fee. On the first day of sailing, the spa will offer tours and hold a raffle. I've seen fellow cruisers win salon and spa treatments!
Entertainment- There will be
live entertainment offerings every evening that appeal to guests of all ages. Some of the entertainers may perform shows for adults only in the late evening. These are often held in lounge areas where drinks are available. If she's interested, she might enjoy non-alcoholic beverages, but I regularly attend shows and activities in lounges and don't feel left out without a drink.
Activities - Once you step aboard the ship, you'll be able to access the Daily Activity Schedule within the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to view all of the planned activities for the cruise. Some of my favorite activities are the trivia and game shows that are led by the entertainment Crew Members. The Crew Members are witty, full of quips, and keep the crowd laughing.
Jeffrey, if you have additional questions, please return to planDisney to ask! My pals and I will be here to help however we can.
I wish your family a fantastic cruise!
